Senior Year!!

Here I am writing to you from a desk in the school of communications where I am positioned until 9pm tonight trying to make what little money I can through work study. Senior year is officially under way with my first day of classes moving pretty quickly.
I moved back to school on Wednesday, living in university housing but in an off campus house this year at 82 New Road. Moving in was fun and not as exhausting as in past years. I love where I live and I love the girls I live with. The difference this year is that I have no expectations of being friends with my roommates so if we aren't friends I won't be upset. I have my own agenda this year and don't need to be waiting around trying to make friends. This new me is what I hope is a newer more independent more mature me.

My classes today all seem pretty good. Public Relations Research seems a little intense but I think the hard work will pay off. QU 301, The Middle East seems like it will be interesting as I have already started to learn a little Arabic (although here we are 5 hours later and I can't remember the 4 words I learned!) International business seems great! I expected that class to be boring but it already seems to be just the opposite.

Tonight is the first general meeting of the Quad News! I'm really excited about being the Advertising Manager this year and taking the organization to a new level.

Excited about senior year! Looking forward to meeting new people and getting closer to life outside of college.
